A Daum Pate de Cristal sculpture in tinted glass with shaded orange background, depicting Eagle with spread wings, clutching a tree branch.
The Eagle is created using the rare & ancient "Pâte de Verre” technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC. It involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold, resulting in intense colors against a subtly shaded background.
Signed by hand under the base.
